In exercise of the power conferred by the explanation to Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (XXVI of 1881) read with Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, Notification No. 20/25/56-pub(I) dated a" June, 1957, the Governor is pleased to declare the following days to be public holidays during the year, 2020:-

List of National and Regional Holidays of Tamil Nadu in 2020.

•    Effective from Date: 01-01-2020.                                                   

The Government of Tamil Nadu pass the following orders in regard to the observance of Holidays in the State of Tamil Nadu for the year 2020.

Changes in ESIC with effect from 1^st October, 2019

Ø  Employees must be registered online on the date of appointment; the online system shall allow maximum of 10 days to register the new employee.

Ø  Employee will have to collect their Biometric ESI Permanent Card from nearest Branch Office.

Ø  Contribution against employee must be deposited within the due date.

Ø  You shall not be able to deposit contribution online after 42 days from the end date of the contribution period.

Declaration Of PF Rate Of Interest For EPF Members Account For The Year 2018-19



As per EPFO Circular No. Invest.I/3(2)133/ROI/2018-19/5519 Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India conveyed the approval of Central Government to credit interest at 8.65% for the year 2018 -19, to the account of each member of the EPF Scheme as per provisions under Para 60(1) of EPF Scheme, 1952
